We’re looking for a VP Marketing to lead Trullion into its next phase of growth, crafting our global narrative, scaling demand, and shaping a new category in accounting technology. This role is built for a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives where creativity meets business impact, someone who understands the precision of accounting, the promise of AI, and how to turn both into a compelling brand and revenue engine.

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale a performance-driven demand generation engine across digital, content, events, and product marketing, with a focus on pipeline acceleration and enterprise growth.
  • Lead the evolution of Trullion’s brand and messaging to reflect our leadership in AI-powered accounting.
  • Translate complex technology into clear narratives that resonate with CFOs, controllers, auditors, and enterprise finance teams.
  • Oversee Trullion’s owned channels (website, blog) and strategic communications, including PR and thought leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Talent to align messaging across the go-to-market journey.
  • Collaborate with Product on go-to-market plans for AI-driven capabilities.
  • Build, scale, and lead a high-performing marketing team. Set KPIs, manage budgets, and drive measurable ROI.
  • Represent marketing at the executive level and contribute to the broader company strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing with strong exposure to enterprise SaaS.
  • Startup experience required- ideally in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
  • Strong domain expertise in accounting, compliance, or financial technology.
  • Proven leadership in full-stack marketing (demand gen, brand, product marketing, and communications).
  • Hands-on execution ability with strategic thinking and executive presence.
  • Direct experience marketing AI-based solutions or data-driven platforms.
  • Experience introducing new product categories or modernizing legacy industries, as well as a background working directly with CFOs or senior finance professionals, is a bonus.
  • Based in New York or open to relocation.

Trullion's US salary range for this full-time position is $220,000 - $300,000 + Benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
