As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a R&D Operations Engineer to join our team. This critical role involves managing and resolving complex technical issues, serving as a bridge between our support team and development team, and ensuring high customer satisfaction through efficient problem resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all production watcher duties, including reviewing issues in production watcher channels.
  • Analyze and triage incoming escalation bugs, determining severity and appropriate course of action.
  • Create and manage JIRA bugs issues, following agreed-upon format.
  • Escalate bugs to appropriate teams after thorough analysis, providing correct format, severity, and affected flow information.
  • Fix bugs/issues where possible and escalate those requiring domain expertise to the relevant team.
  • Maintain clear and informative logs with correct severity levels.
  • Assist team with handling bugs during periods of low escalation volume.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Product, and Development teams to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of software development processes and bug-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar or equivalent role.
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and SaaS environment.
  • Familiar with Python, React, SQL DB.
